Adv. Koby Tsarfaty, C.P.A., who did his apprenticeship at the late Dr. Avi Alter, is the managing partner of Tsarfaty & Co. Law Office. Adv. Tsarfaty is a specialist in the fields of income tax, value added tax, land taxation, international taxation, trusts, including maintaining family capital, and has considerable experience in representing clients vis á vis the tax authorities throughout the country, both in civil proceedings and in criminal proceedings, including arrangements for voluntary disclosure . He represents and accompanies, inter alia, holders of capital, foreign residents, new immigrants and returning residents from Europe, the US and Canada. Adv. Tsarfaty has been a certified public accountant for over 25 years; formerly – an employee of the Ministry of Finance, the Income Tax and Value Added Tax Division, a partner in an accounting firm, manager of the Tax Department of the Haifa branch of the BDO Ziv Haft firm, and until the beginning of 2014 the manager of the Haifa
branch of the Alter – Law Office. In addition, Adv. Tsarfaty in the past lectured at higher education institutions and today is a lecturer in various forums and a member of the Tax Forum of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel. Adv. Tsarfaty is a graduate with a first degree in economics and accounting from the Haifa University, a Masters' degree in Business Administration (Executive MBA) in the Tel Aviv University and a First Degree in Law from the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center and in addition has a license as an American CPA (State of Delaware). Member of the Bar Association and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel and in the US.
